Araceli is a San Diego County Social Worker and artist with over a decade of experience working with diverse populations in the Non-Profit, Academic, Grassroots, and Legal sectors. Araceli received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with an emphasis in Counseling and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from California State University of San Marcos (CSUSM). Throughout her professional career, Araceli has utilized her clinical skills and creative expression to work alongside marginalized populations to build an inclusive community whilst promoting connection, healing, individual and communal empowerment. At the core of it all, Araceli has been driven by her passion for working with people, understanding different cultures, cultivating relationships, and building community. In the future, she aims to continue working within the community and promote organizational and systemic change in order to address systemic oppression and encourage human and community well-being.
